SENIOR RF ENGINEER
Location: Rochester, NY
Description: Managing the
development, test and manufacturing operations.
|
Details:
- Designs RF electronic components,
products and systems for commercial, industrial
and scientific applications.
- Determines material and equipment
needs for engineering projects.
- Develops testing, operational
and maintenance procedures for RF products and
systems.
- Improves design robustness
by failure modes and effect analyses and design
for manufacturability, assembly, and serviceability
exercises.
- Interface with customers to
solve field problems.
- Interface with manufacturing
to solve production problems.
- Confers with engineers, customers,
and others to discuss existing and potential
engineering projects or products.
- Defines documentation process
and leads design reviews
- Reviews and prepares budget
and cost estimate for projects

Job Requirements:
- BS degree in Electrical Engineering
and 10+ years of experience in RF power amplifier
product development and support, including experience
in systems integration.
- Experience with circuit simulation
tools.
- Good writing and excellent
communication skills (specifications, test reports,
engineering analyses, customer interaction,
proposals, etc).
- Ability to apply analytical
thinking to creatively solve problems.
- Background in analog and high
power electronics.
- Experience with pulsed and
linear power Radio Frequency systems.
- Familiarity with microprocessor
programming a plus.
- Desire to work in a fast paced,
dynamic environment.
